With the rise of minecraft uhc it is important for people to who play this game mode to know a thing or two about pvp
- Golden apples/ heads is the only way to regenerate health in the uhc so is really important to have. One Golden apple can regenerate 2 hearts so a rule of thumb is to get 16 apples before you head under the surface (from tree leaves).
2. When people die, they drop heads. These heads can be crafted into golden heads with the same recipe as normal golden apples. These golden heads produce 2 more hearts than normal golden apples.( 4 hearts in total.) So look out for these when you get a kill.
3. Enchantment tables are one of the most important items. If you find 5 or more diamond, DO NOT MAKE A SWORD. Make a pickaxe and get some obsidian. then you can go to the surface and get some leather and sugar came from this you can make a crafting table.
4. Diamond armor= iron armor with protection 1. If you can’t find enough diamonds just make a enchant table and lapiz, then enchant your armour.
5. 5. jumping up and hitting animals/players mid air deals extra damage. on ps4 and xbox ,this is harder because you have to move your thumb off your thumb stick. To combat players can either buy scuf controllers which have paddles on the back, buy a strike pack, or play claw, I personally play claw because I find it easier out of the options. Just search it up and even if there are some trashy fortnite vids. some will explain how to do it so you can convert that to the superior game .
6. When people use their god apples, use your axe, this will break their armor quicker. ( when they eat their god/notch apple, they can’t be killed). if you see them holding a shiny golden apple, THIS IS A GOD APPLE. They also get fire resistance.
7. Always carry a water bucket. YOU NEVER KNOW if you need to get down from somewhere . Trust me.
8. please don’t bind only scroll wheel to switching weapons. it makes it so hard to switch to the correct one. Please bind at least slots 1,2,3,4,5 to inventory 1,2,3,4,5. (this be for pc tho)
9. You can pot golden apples in your off hand. This way all you need to do is right click to eat a g. apple.

11. Always have a lava bucket. You can set people alight and take their hearts away. This also deceases their visibility and makes them lake damage over time.
12. Sharpness adds 1 damage to a sword. This goes up when it is sharp, 2,3,4,5 to 2,3,4,5 extra damage.
13. have a knockback sword/stick so that if u get low you can hit them away.
14.kill cows to get leather before you go mining. you can then make books and enchant tables.
15. Fight people weaker than you or if you need diamonds, fight people with non enchanted diamond.
16.try to always have a stack of gold so if you pick up a head you can craft a gold head.
17.If potions are enabled, get blaze rods from the neather and make a strength and speed potion.
18. Get a bow, if people are low and running, shoot them. Power 1 is good too
19. Enchant books.
